E. Shane Turner

E. Shane Turner graduated Magna Cum Laude from Brigham Young University in 1987 with a B.S. degree in Computer Science. Since that time he has worked as a professional software developer for such well-known companies as WordPerfect Corporation, Novell, Inc., Microsoft Corporation, and MCI WorldCom. Shane has also served as an adjunct professor of computer science for Weber State University in Ogden, UT, and Colorado Technical University in Colorado Springs, CO. In addition, Shane is an accomplished technical writer who has had three books published by South-Western Educational Publishing, and has authored numerous magazine articles for various computer trade publications.

On the personal side, Shane is an accomplished musician who has performed with bands and orchestras across the country and in several European countries. He also devotes as much time as possible to his wife Stephani and his eight wonderful children: Laura, Anthony, Diana, Katie, Afton, Evan, Roman, and Emma.
